Side note, be sure to inform your insurance agent about the new roof. You might get a discount for it. If it's an insurance claim, still give him/her a shout because claims doesn't always alert the agent.

NOT ASAP Roofing.

I know it's not a recommendation, but I can only tell you about my bad experiences.

Had advanced exteriors do ours last year. Did a great job and fought the insurance company and won. Long story, but they went to bat for us big time.

Ask for Joel. Tell him joel (me) recommended you. Serious, on time, only legal immigrants on your roof at all time.....

I've had lots of claims with Advanced Exteriors and haven't had any complaints from customers afterwards. This is about the best review I can give a company because I never see their work after install except for when there is a problem (like with ASAP).

Advanced Exteriors did my roof the second time after ASAP screwed it up. I had a small issue with Advanced when the delivery truck backed into my gutter system. They paid to replace the damaged gutter section and repaired some damaged painted areas of the siding. It took a while to get everything completed but happy with final outcome. As was said earlier Advanced got quite a bit more money from my insurance for missed items that was originally damaged.

I will now add a little bit more to my Advanced Exteriors experience. My insurance wanted to pay for repair of one section and were adamant that is all it needed. That was absurd as our roof was toast. Advanced fought with them for a few months and even had a special agency come out to do another look at the roof. There is a name for it in the insurance biz, but I'm not in the biz so I don't remember. In the end, Advanced got us a stellar roof product with upgraded vent stuff at the top. Also removed the swamp cooler. They also did an entire different roof material over our addition as the original contractor did not use the proper material due to the slope of the roof Was not up to code or building spec. The Insurance company did not even catch that part and actually disputed it.

I think appraisal is the term of which you're thinking.
