After reading for years I FINALY put together my first AR. I wanted to do it right the first time instead of buying one assembled and replacing everything over time. So let me know how I did. Granted, I haven't shot it yet so it could just be a time bomb, but for now I'm stoked!

specs:

-Aero Precision lower, m4e1 upper / 12" mlok handguard ( tungsten cerakote by Jerry)
-AR Stoner .223 Wylde 16" stainless fluted barrel
-Seekins precision melonite flash hider and gas tube
-DD clamp on low pro gas block (mid length)
-ALG trigger with purple spring
-Spikes t2 buffer
-Fail Zero NIB BCG
-Raptor charging handle
-Ergo grip
-Magpul MOE SL buttstock / trigger guard
-Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x 223 BDC riflescope
-Primary Arms delux one piece mount
-Lower parts kit and buffer tube from Bowers Tactical

Nice tuning fork!
BTW, you'll most likely change it out a few times in the not too distant future!

Might be an improper question but what was the total price? You can PM me if needed.

I'll have to add it up , didn't do that yet on purpose . Thanks for nothing haha

Looks like $1550 +- a few bucks here and there. Not really a budged build but I didn't go real high end either. Spent money where I thought it was important.

Very nice.
Don't you love if when you finally get the rifle for the mags you bought years ago?

I had just mags and a grip in the safe for too long.

Just found an extra roll pin... Better build another one

Looks like you're showing early symptoms of having BRD (Black Rifle Disease). You should probably consult your wallet and spouse (if applicable) about treatment options.

Looks great. I think you did a great job for the price with a magnified optic.

Now let's see some range reports.

If it's cool with the OP I'd like to put pictures of my first build (when I get my stamp). If not I was thinking of starting a fist build thread! Searched for one and found a couple, but nothing more than few comments.

It worked and I didn't die! Actually cycled perfect and not a single jam. Sub MoA for sure just hard to see at 100yrds with only 4x. Pumped

Got a JP brake for it ... Taking it out sat to test it. Anyone want to stand next to me and tell me if it works?

I have a handful of that model of brakes.

They work just fine! No need to stand next to you to know that.
