Harley Davidson is offering their 3 day Motorcycle Safety Foundation course for free to active or retired first responders and military. IDs required. This course is the gold standard for learning to ride or brushing up your skills if you're rusty. At the end of the course, if the instructors are satisfied with your skills, you will receive the certificate to get your "M" endorsement on your license without having to take the written and road tests at the DMV. I'm not 100% positive, but I think the course also qualifies as one of the Safe Driver courses that will erase points off your license and get a reduction in insurance premiums.

I'll be taking the course as well (haven't ridden in 5+ years since I got rid of my last bike). If any other COAR people want to meet up and make a weekend of it, I'm looking to take one of the classes in the next couple months at one of the locations within 30ish minutes of Boulder.
