Where the heck does it say anything about an "active shooter"? Not even the media is calling it an active shooter situation at this point, so why would you?

Lol calm down sweetheart.

Someone who is actively shooting people is an active shooter. There was no indication that the shooter was caught or stopped shooting. Excuse me for being a couple minutes behind on my news updates.

I'm actually quite calm, relaxing on the couch, heart rate at 67 according to fitbit, yeah I'd call that fairly calm.

To me, "active shooter" implies someone is still firing. The news story simply said 3 people had been shot, that that there was still shooting going on. You say there was no indication the shooter stopped shooting, I say there was no indication the shooter continued shooting. The fact the security precautions at the schools were lifted implies that s/he did not.

This was my line of thinking. My main point however, is the media sensationalises everything involving firearm related incidents, they don't need any help with their BS terminology.

Right, active scene, not active shooter.

all I want to know is, am I the only one not wearing a fit bit at all times of the day. Gotta keep track of the heart rate, at all times, I guess?[Flower]

Likewise. If i'm breathing hard, my heart rate is up. If not, it's down. $100-200 saved. NOW THAT WOULD MAKE MY HEART RATE CLIMB.

Eh, your prerogative. Some of us like to keep in shape, and appreciate the technology which assists us in doing so. I suppose the $150 would have gone pretty far on the Mc Donalds dollar menu tho...

Huh, I was few blocks North of Dry Creek while that was going on. I didn't hear anything. Also, I thought I'd kill time just before that and went over to Bowers but they are closed Mondays.

Since getting my Fitbit, Ive done a lot more. I do my best effort to get over 10k steps each day which means treadmill before or after work and a walk at lunch. I was probably at ~5k steps per day prior to this. I enjoy seeing where my heart rate is during exercise so I can know to crank it up or not. I used to think they were silly until I got one.
