GLENDALE - On March 28, a rifle and over 200 rounds of 223/5.56 ammunition were stolen from a party at an apartment in the City of Glendale.
According to Glendale Police, the rifle is a Knight's Armament Rifle with a serial number of # KM909090. It was allegedly fitted with a Trijicon ACOG optical sight.

It is not clear where the rifle was located or if it was secured.
Police have issued a BOLO, or "be on the lookout," on this weapon as it poses a public safety threat.
The rifle was stolen from a party in the 4500 block of Cherry Creek Drive South that was mainly attended by Denver East High School students.
9NEWS left messages with the Glendale investigators Monday morning seeking more information. Denver Public Schools told 9NEWS they are looking into the crime alert.
Anyone with information related to the theft and recovery of the weapon is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Texts can also be sen to 274637, then title DMCS and enter a tip.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
