Anyone know how to work on an Aimpoint Comp M?

I have an old Comp M that has a reostat issue in that the sight will shut off when I'm shooting. If I move the switch around it will turn on/off when it's set at a brightness level. Aimpoint says it was made in 97 and they no longer have parts to support this unit and there's nothing they can do.
Anyone have a manual for one they can share or point me in a direction on how to fix it?

Thanks. It looks like it's a contact issue. I cleaned them up a little and so far so good. I'll change the battery and hope for the best.
