View Full Version : need a place to buy/rent
well hell after 20 years of being together my wife and i have decided to split, we are trying to keep it as civil as possible, but i need to find a place to live ASAP. would like to find a townhouse/condo with 1-2 bedrooms and a garage if possible. location's would include, Aurora, Littleton, Lakewood or areas in between. Obviously prices in this state have increased dramatically and if anybody knows a family member or has a friend looking to sell please keep me in mind. I have a relator, but if you think you can help with that i am all ears and would prefer to keep my money with somebody in the shooting/gun community... thanks, wish me luck too, this is like learning how to breath again for me.
regards

Dang, sorry to hear man, I'll keep my ears open for you. Anything else you need in the mean time? I can't imagine what that's like to go through after 20 years. Keep your chin up.

don't ever leave the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's your house as much as hers, if you leave, it shows intent that you wanted to leave.
Divorce courts are inherently against men, don't give them anything extra.
Do not do ANYTHING without at least talking to a lawyer. Yes, lawyers are expensive. Making legal decisions without a lawyer is much more expensive. This is a couple hundred thousand dollar decision you are taking, couple hundred to even consult with a lawyer would be money well spent.

Obviously I have nothing other than best wishes that things turn out OK in whatever form that might be.
What time frame. I have a coworker that has a tenant that is moving out of his rental.

Sorry to hear, Ducky.
I will keep a eye out bro and if you need anything just call!
In the same boat. 12 years and done. I just found a place to rent this weekend. Still no garage space. Still needing one.
It sucks but it may also be for the best. BTDT twice now.
I may have a line on a 2br/no garage townhouse rental opening in late May/first of June, in Centennial. I'll get more info.

This. I don't know you, but if you need help moving I have a truck. Glad to help, but try to save your marriage if you can.
I've been in your shoes brother. It sucks. I don't have any leads on the kind of property you are looking for. I wish you all the best. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
Sorry bro! If you need anything let me know.

I'm sorry to hear that!
Houses in this neighborhood are snapped up as soon as word gets out. Even landlords are flipping what they were renting last year. I wish I could be more help!
I can't help with the housing part but call/text me when you need some help moving.
Really sorry to hear what happened.
