I have the engine rebuilt except for the oil pump. So I need a Ford 8N oil pump rebuild jig. I just got the oil pump back from the machine shop and it binds the driven gear against the pump. The guys on the tractor forum say this is a no no.
All the online suppliers of the Ford 8N oil pump rebuild jig say they are out of stock. Do any members here have one for sale, rent, loan etc. I need the jig so I can ream out the bearing perfectly square. Even a professional machine shop can't do the job properly without the jig. Or I can bring the pump to you if have the jig and can do it for me. I will gladly pay you.
