I was out running around this morning and one of my stops was at Sprouts. I was as usual carrying my 332 (legally and concealed) when I noticed they have put a "No Firearms" sign by the front door. I went in anyway and did my shopping and left with no incident, amazing. Again don't spread this around [panic]

I thought plastic signs rendered all firearms inoperable.

I thought plastic signs rendered all firearms inoperable.

Only in the minds of progressive, common sense folks.
Or people who feel the need to ask if they are not allowed to bring their CCW in the store.[Flower]

Kroger (King Soopers) fully supports 2A and stood up against liberal gun grabbing groups.

I wish I had a Kroger brand store out here. The nearest is almost an hour away.

Hence why I get all my groceries from them.

If you're carrying organic ammo then you're fine. [Flower]

Yeppers, the single best example of pi$$!ng in the wind. "Hey! If it works in Chicago, it'll work anywhere!" For anyone in Chicago to think, even for a second, that a no firearms sign will protect them from guns, MORE than a gun...well, you can't fix stupid.

Well you can... but it's permanent. [Coffee]

I carry everywhere (profession notwithstanding), especially in places that are dubbed "Gun Free Zones" (we all know the alternative name for these locations).

You went into a place with all kinds of people there, and were armed to the teeth, AND NOBODY DIED?!?!? OMG, how can that happen??

they have put a "No Firearms" sign by the front door.

You completely misunderstood what they were trying to tell you. The "No Firearms" sign meant that they don't have any firearms for sale at that location. My guess is that the manager was tired of answering the "where are your firearms located?" question.

Those signs don't carry the force of law in Colorado....

I'm more bothered that you gave them money...

All have the right to remain silent but many lack the capacity. [dig]

Just a reminder, the site does not condone any discussions that may be illegal. This also serves as continual reminder that we are on public forums, and your friend google archives what you say now from birth to death, long after the individual himself¹ has forgotten whatever they said or believed. Your Miranda rights include "Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law", and damn if it isn't hard to determine what kind of poop the future intends to shit all over you with.

I listened to the the Sheriff and DA from a county near the metro area the other day and this topic came up by the DA. He said "I am not advising you to break a property owners wishes but there are only two ways they are going to know 1) you use in it a legal manner or 2) you are a fucking idiot." He went on to say concealed is concealed. Now if they do see it and ask you to leave you better leave. They also talked about Open Carry. The Sheriff does not open carry out of uniform and he had good reasons. Just because you can doesn't always mean you should.

Both are very pro-gun, both are very pro-2nd, the DA has a very high bar for when to move forward with a case. It was very refreshing to hear. It was also great to hear them bash City and County of Denver every opportunity they had. The DA "If they put the same effort into crime as they do into parking violations, crime would be gone in 3 months".
