Hi Guys,

Do we have a resource that could mill front serrations and match them to the rear serrations on a stainless 1911 slide?

Is there an issue with heat from milling changing the properties in the metal?

If this can be done, what would a rough cost be?

Thanks much,
Griff

Cost is going to be between .01 and $1,000,000.00.

I would check with Bert @ BP Tactical. He is a well respected member here and is known for his quality work. If he cannot do it, he can point you in the right direction.

If you're still looking, I had front serrations added to a 1006 at TJ's on Airport, you can't tell them from factory. I have seen 1911's they have worked on, and they matched factory too. Those were standard factory straight cut types though, I have no idea if they do the fancier styles.
