For years I've always been confident in my shooting with any basic mil-spec trigger that came with whichever low end lower parts kit I used. Always smoothed them out with shooting the rifle.
Recently I decided, and way too late I might add, to get into the NFA game. I decided if I was going to do it, I wanted to look into a much higher grade of parts than I have before. I already decided the bcg and barrel were going to be either BCM or Daniel Defense. This will be my most high dollar build yet. If I'm registering it, it is going to be bomb proof.
So, still being a huge fan of single stage mil-spec style triggers, for durability more than anything else, I picked up the BCM PNT trigger. It was a toss up between that and the ALG ACT tigger. The BCM won out based on availability from a friend who had one in he had never installed.
Going to take it to the range tomorrow to test it out fully, but just with the installation and function test, I'm already asking myself why the hell did I never buy one of these before!? The ALG ACT or the BCM will be going in all my other rifles now.
Never finger'd a PNT, but for a single stage mil spec trigger I love my ACT.
Just wait till you try a Geissele. It's another world after that.

This times ten.
I switched most everything I had over to the QMS and ACT triggers years ago and thought they suited me just fine until I recently purchased my first Geissele SSA-E.
Now it looks like everything I have needs to be upgraded.

So you're telling me you may have some ACT and QMS fire groups for sale soon? Haha.
Maybe. Lol.
Of course at nearly $250 for each of my replacement units it might be a lengthy timeframe for my upgrades.
Tim/DangerLee can hook you up with a HiPerFire trigger....I love how mine feels...works
ACT in a highrer end budget build I did for a buddy. For the money it is a great option.
But all Geissele in my three AR rifles and Scar17

Tim takes care of folks and the HF has lots of positive 1st person reviews
However i'd suggest you look at the LaRue $125 not in a hurry trigger deal. I have 2 on order.

I dont like two stage triggers at all. I have put ALG Act triggers in all my AR's. The qms and act triggers are the best bang for your buck.

The LaRue, I can Wait for the $125 trigger is suppose to be another good unit.

I have a Larue and one of the Brownell's exclusive Geissele rapid fire triggers. Both are very nice for their intended purposes. I'm going to use the Larue in a precision build, and the Geissele is going in my duty/3 gun rifle.
The ALG triggers are nice, but these are both quite a bit better than the best ALG I have(6 total). How much better $$$ is up to you though.

I'm interested in trying this trigger. Did you get it yet or still waiting? How long has it been since you ordered it?

Mine finally came in last week. I opted for the "I can wait price" ones and it was 6 weeks from when I placed the order. I'm stoked to try them out.
