Don't want to go too in depth, but possibly losing my apartment due to defending it under the Colorado state law.

NAGR is usually pretty aggressive with this sort of thing you may want to contact them. They're office is in Windsor CO.

and they are worthless pieces of shit.
you need to be banned for even mentioning the dud and his scam shakedown business.

I think anyone here would have to be unbelievably desperate to have any contact with Dudley Brown.

Dudley is just a figure head. You don't deal with Dudley you deal with the office. NAGR isn't really "run" by him.

Before this thread gets seriously derailed.
Whether he's involved or not. Dud's fingerprints are all over everything RMGO related.
Dud takes responsibility FOR EVERY THING RMGO RELATED.
AND IF YOU SEND US SOME MONEY TODAY. HE'LL MAKE SURE YOUR RIGHTS AREN'T TRAMPLED. OR SIGNED AWAY LIKE THE NRA WOULD DO.
At least that's how it comes across, to many gun owners.
Now get cracking, since you've been elected to the TOW board. Unless this is someone else. then get with the new board member and tell him to get on it.
Word up. have dud go public, announce he is not involved in the day to day running of NAGR. Hell e-mail your base. Even those of us who have (more than once) asked to be taken off the e-mail list, again and again.

I doubt I'd take advice about my rights from someone who suggests banning as a first means of dealing with words they don't like. All I'm saying is if you want to make a stink, you can use the organization to your advantage. If you think the NRA is going do anything I think you'll be waiting a very long time but who knows You might get lucky. I have no affiliation with NAGR, and I'm actually an NRA life member. Frankly I don't expect a lot out of either of them other than my Rifleman magazine. I'm not even a member NAGR, but I do know that they regularly and aggressively litigate. If you want to spend tens of thousands on lawyers of your own dollars to fight it then go fight the good fight and I wish you well. Those who aren't independently wealthy have to spend their dollars wisely and use the resources they have at hand.

So, this is absolutely not what I was asking for. The debate on NAGR and Dudley Brown aside, I asked for recommendations. So please, let's leave it at that. There have been some made already, and I will be the one that has to figure out who I can afford, and what I can do.
Thank you all for any recommendations you've made.
