Noticed something interesting last Sunday. On highway 83 heading to Palmer Divide on my '14 FXDF. Tooling along around 60-65 when the red electrical system light came on. I slowed down (applying both brakes, front more than rear) and pulled over, light went out. Happened two more times before I got in to Palmer Lake. When I got there I hopped online to search it out. Seems it's a well known issue with the front brake switch located inside the master cylinder assembly.
Called the dealer-it's open Sundays for everything but bike sales (in accordance with state law), talked to a service writer and he was well aware of the situation. Dropped it off Wednesday, we noticed the brake light would sometimes stay on when applying the front brake. The service writer called me yesterday, confirmed the problem, being handled under warranty.
Anyone else ever run in to this?
