Did anyone else get the letter from AIM informing customers of a data breach?

Yes, but my employer has already been hacked several times and is providing me with complementary ID monitoring for the foreseeable future. I appreciate AIM Inc.'s offer but it is redundant for me.

If anyone thinks AIM is the only one that's been hit .. At least AIM is trying to keep people in the loop vs places that deny they've been hacked.

Haven't got that one. Got one from t mobile a while back. FAA lost a bunch recently but I never got anything from them. Didn't even Target have a ton a couple years back?

Yes. Apparently Target placed all of their customer's records in the wrong bathroom and someone went in and moved them to one of the other bathroom choices. Target just chose not to keep track of what went into which bathroom. [Coffee]

If data is accessible either on-line or just one employee with access goes bad, the data will be hacked. Speed and convenience for customers and the business work in favor of criminals as well.

I was pretty impressed at their effort to send out the letters and offer support.

I got this letter......I'm guessing it's not just drivers license images, I sent them a pic of my ffl and dl together (guessing a lot of people did ). Not really too worried about it though.
