Hoahh dudes. I am pretty stoked I found this forum. I'm looking to get back into more competition shooting and this looks like the place to find like minded warriors to shoot with. I used to shoot a ton of Defensive and Combat handgun matches at Boulder Rifle Club. But I moved up to Pine Junction 5 years ago and quit shooting the matches.
Last week I upgraded my AR to a Rock River Elite Comp and would like to do more 3-gun stuff. I prefer tactical match type of work and not Hi-power, super ling range shooting. I like to shoot and scoot, always moving forward, and problem solving. My military background keeps me drawn toward the more Hi-Speed, Low Drag type activities. I don't enjoy sitting in a prone firing 10 rounds an hour. Cool stuff, just not my interest area.
For kicks, I teach Tactical Handgun classes. Currently we are training at Buffalo Creek Gun Club. It is myself and my two old Army buddies.
So if anyone can clue me in on the local 3-gun activities, drop me a line!
