As reported on the news, it seemed like a low-class thing to do but it's a bit different if the proceeds are going to help the LEOs injured or defamed by Black Lives Matter.

Zimmerman's a hack (as seen by his after dismissal court) antics. IMO had they gone for a manslaughter charge instead of the politically motivated (from the white house down) Murder charge, he'd be in jail.

I'm not even sure they would have gotten a conviction on manslaughter. The fact of the matter is, Trayvon was bashing his head into the sidewalk. At that point, pulling the gun is self-defense and it had nothing to do with "stand your ground." GZ seemed like an overly enthusiastic mall cop wannabe but he was in his own neighborhood (which had suffered numerous recent crimes) and didn't pull his weapon until he'd been jumped and beaten by TM.
I can see why he'd want to get rid of the weapon anyway and while publicizing it as "the gun that killed Trayvon Martin" seems low-class, the BLM crowd and the WH have done everything they could to destroy his life. $5K (if that's what he got) is a pretty low price for the havoc they wreaked on his marriage and future employment prospects.

Supposedly, a portion of the proceeds was to go toward helping LEOs who'd been harmed by BLM. I'm just saying that while it seems low-class to capitalize on someone else's death, it's a pretty small price considering how his life has been affected by Trayvon's decision to smack him around.

I don't think Zimmerman is the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree ... but I do get sick of all the "virtue signaling" and "liberal ass kissing" that too many on "our side" do by bagging on the guy.
He was put in a very tough position, persecuted and prosecuted for leftist political reasons and then stuck flailing in the aftermath and people on our side still buy the BS that if they help the left tear this guy down that they'll leave us alone (much like toadies who kiss the ass of bullies).

This whole Zimmerman case really enlightened me on liberal thinking. One thing I learned was anybody they, like (Obama) that is half black and half white, is officially black. Some of you want to point out what has happened to him after all of this... without thinking about what happened "during" all of that. I think what Zimmerman went through that whole time, and still now would change anyone. If what happened to him due to Jesse Jackson, the dip shit of a president we have, and everyone else who make him out to be a horrific racist murdering child killer DIDN'T happen, and Zimmerman got a fair and proper trial and treatment, his life right now would be a completely different story. I mean, for fucks sake people (those of you dogging on him), he wasn't tried for murder till the president and others came down on the police to do so! How would your life change if you couldn't walk down a public street without fearing for your life, or even your families?
