View Full Version : Emergency Septic Pumping
Anyone know of a company that will come to Castle Rock for an emergency septic pumping?
Drains in our house just started backing up and we have no idea what's happening. We have a plumbing company coming out but I can't find a septic company.
I guess we need recommendations for an emergency plumber as well since none of the 5 companies I've called have committed to coming out yet.

Hopefully you have a few 5 gal. buckets and a supply of plastic trash bags for liners to last until you can get a honey wagon out...
Oh the perks of country living.........
Seriously though , that's a shitty situation to be in, hope you can get it solved quickly.
Arrowhead Septic (http://www.arrowheadseptic.net/) in the 'springs claims 24x7 response.
They've been recommended to me for a septic inspection, don't have first hand knowledge of them yet, however.
Because of your distance they have a mileage fee on top of the pumping fee, I calculate it to be less than $100 (just the mileage fee) to Castle Rock. Ouch, but if you need it fixed, you need it fixed.

I have a good sized aquarium pump and a bunch of 5 gallon buckets. It seems to be isolated to the main line at the far end of the house so I think a decent rooter could get it unstuck. Other toilets are flushing fine and if it was the main line to the septic, I don't think that would be true.

Their response... call someone in Denver... I don't blame them but I've called 12 companies now... I can't believe it's that hard to find an emergency plumber...

Haven't tried them yet but I now think it's a plumbing and not a septic issue.
Finally got a call back, minimum $500 charge + time.
I have a one of these if you want to try clearing it yourself first

You can rent a snake. Or check craigslist for the $100 any drain any time companies
Thanks for the advice and offers to help. I will definitely be buying at least a 25' auger, turned out to be a major clog in the main, probably due to our 9 year old using WAY too much TP. We had the main scoped before moving in so it was something we did.
Time to go get that auger and a couple of water alarms.

Another issue could be people tossing their "flushable wipes" down the toilet. All they do is clog the system.
