Anyone know how an SCA contract for the government works?

Specifically when the contract isn't going to be renewed will the government give the contracting company any notice and if so how much notice? I have heard 30,60,90 days is typically the notice that the fed gives when not renewing a contract but all from different "non trust worthy" sources.

Why I ask is because I've known my job will be ending soon but somethings just aren't in place yet to be able to shit can my ass. I need as much notice as I can possibly get since it's more than just me that relies on my income so any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok found out the Gov gives a 30 day notice to the contracting company when they are going to renew / cancel a contract.
