I was there with a 1911 strapped to my waist (ccw)

the Robert Cray Band was on the main stage tonight.


not sure who tomorrow, but Monday is supposed to be Foghat.


FYI: food/drinks are WAY over priced (>150% over local retail (I'd swag it around 300-400% typical)

I used to love going to these types of events - even though the prices were a little over average. I finally totally quit when the events and vendows raised their prices so high that it seemed like they were trying to make their entire annual income off of the one weekend.

Booth fees for these events have gotten ridiculous. It takes a lot of burgers and beers just to cover the expenses.

If that's the case then they just shouldn't sponsor the event. If they start having a hard time finding people to fill the booths then eventually they will lower fees. Just seems like someone is making money hand over fist on this and I doubt the vendors are walking with chicken scratch after paying booth fees with the prices they're charging. I'm done supporting this event until it gets back to the original idea versus the money grab it has become.
