Too many things I want but shouldn't buy.
Maybe I need to stop searching around for stuff online so I won't know it's available.
Or I need a sugar momma.
I've been eyeballing two handguns and two rifles.
The HK VP9 in FDE. I have a black one but I'm a sucker for the tan stuff.
A CZ P07. Also in FDE. I've kind of been wanting one of these for a while and now it comes in FDE so it's even more tempting.
CZ Scorpion Evo3 S1 carbine. Not sure why, but I've also been a sucker for pistol caliber carbines. They are just plain fun to shoot. Not to mention it would be a good SBR candidate in the future.
The IWI X95. I'm not a fan of the original Tavor but the X95 is an improvement over the original in my opinion. Fortunately, this one isn't as tempting since it's kind of pricey.

Know the feeling. Had a bonus coming, spent weeks putting together my list. Walked into ark tactical and I blew it all on an ak. Still gazing longingly at my list, while cradling my ak.

This thread could not have had better timing. So much and no fun funds to support it.

Since you sound like you'd like to be talked out of it, every dollar you spend on something that doesn't fund your retirement, or develop passive income, is another year you'll have to work.

I'm sorta kidding. The X95 is way more useful/practical than the CZ 9mm carbine. Or sell anything that isn't an AR15 pattern and get new AR15s.
I just want my wallet to have a self-replenishing $100 bill in it every time i pull it out of my pocket and spend that bill, I'd like a new one to magically appear. Either that or 3 more 0's on the end of my bank account balance. 4 more zeros would just cause too much trouble... I'd be happy with 3.

Yep, I'm currently trying to figure out how to procure a sig p226, finish an ar-10 project, sig p320, semi auto shotgun, and a suppressor. I don't know if there's enough overtime in the world for me to afford this stuff.

Well, I figured out where I'm going to spend $1,000 of my money.
Half of of the cost of a photographer for my kid's wedding.

Part of me agrees with you.
I've been dropping Uncle Sam $200 bucks for another tax stamp. Gotta get my e-files in while I still can before the new law takes effect in July. Not sure if I want to do another SBR after I submit for my suppressor or not. I'm sure the dilemma will be resolved within the next 30 days.

There are things I like about it but I would rather mod a MK25 (which I have) with a Bruce Gray trigger. That's the biggest selling point for me.
Sig also bumped up the price on the X5 after the redesign putting the pricing on the Legions in the middle. Prior to the bump, you could get an X5 All Around for $1,400 on GB but now they are closer to $2K. That's one of my ragrets. By that scale, the Legions are a pretty good value for that trigger and what is basically an Elite frame.
So doooo eet!!!
P.S. The supply of OEM MecGar P226 mags is dwindling ("Made in Italy"). They can still be found out there but are getting harder to find. There were (and maybe still are) issues with the new Sig OEM mags. New MecGar 9MM aftermarket mags are 18 rounders so those are above the limit.

I look for and buy zipperbacks or dovetails, mostly dovetails, for Sigs, get replacement springs from Wolff.

Have you mastered the firearms you already own? No? Then you'll almost certainly be much better off spending the time/money/effort doing so than adding to the stable. I speak from bitter, not to mention expensive, experience. Yeah, I know it's not as much fun as slobbering over and then acquiring the latest bullet launcher, but that's the shooting life.
Of course, there'd be a lot fewer gunmakers if everyone did this; a little, old gunsmith working in his garage could probably meet market demand for new firearms if everyone had to master (using objective standards of some sort) his currently-owned gun(s) (I jest...slightly).
So, there you go. If you need me to rain on any more parades, just ask.
