Great series, I bought it after it came out on DVD. It is extremely well done, if you haven't seen it, WATCH IT!

Thanks for the info. I think I will tune in and check it out. I have seen the first half of the series and love it so far. I may just have to break down and buy the DVD's rather than sit through all the damn commercials though.

Honestly, I cant tell you how many times I have watched the series. Flipping great and when they show the commentaries from the actual men of Easy Company, there seems to be a great influx of dust in the family room at those moments.

What a coincidence ! I bought the box set when it came out and today seemed like a great day to watch it again, well worth the investment. [Beer]

That's a series I'd love to get but my wife HATES any war themed movie I have to save a little here and there before I can buy it under the radar.

I came in from mowing a bit ago and found my 17yo son watching it. When I asked him about it he said he really enjoys the show. Brings a tear to dear ol' Dad's eye.

One of the best DVDs I have bought.

It and Animal House got a lot of air time while I was deployed.

Thats a good son you have raised there [Beer]

My kids love it. My oldest son was watching it with me and the wife unit until the other kids wanted to go ride bikes. My daughter (the oldest) has sat and watched the entire series with me before.

Yeah, I think I'll keep him. It sounds like youre doing a great job with that daughter of yours too.

So, this thread got me doing a bit of checking. I found BoB-Box Set @ Walmart.com for $35. I called a local WalMart to see if they had any in stock and how much they are in the store. The kid didn't know if any were in stock but said they were $55 (of course they wont price match their, or anybodies online price).

I had to run to Sams Club to pick up some dried fruit that I'll use for hunting season next month. While @ Sams I checked for BoB and found the set for $45. Looks like thats what I'll be getting ~ probably next month. While I was looking through the movies I found Full Metal Jacket for $5. This has been on my movie Wish List for years (Yes, I actually have a list of about 100 movies that either I or my wife want to get). I bought it.

Fantastic series. I really want to pick it up on blu-ray but already own it on DVD. Anybody know when the new series that takes place in the Pacific comes out?

One of the best movies ever made in my opinion.

Just have to keep telling yourself... it's not a movie, it's what these guys did.
