Any VZ2008/VZ58 Owners? Know of a good gunsmith?

I've got a VZ2008 with a front sight that is being difficult. It will not adjust for windage what so ever. Its very tight and I cant get enough torque behind a tiny AK front sight tool to get it to budge. I took it to a gunsmith near me but he clearly had never seen the VZ platform before and sounded like he has not worked on AK style front sights either. The VZ has an AK style sight (pic below).

Does anyone know of a gunsmith who is experienced working on AK style rifles? Thanks.

Drop some PB blaster on the sight & sight drum. let it sit over night , then try adjusting it. You also need to step up to a better adjuster than what was in the tool kit.

I've tried that so far. However I didnt let it sit overnight in PB blaster. But I did put my sight tool on it (the first one pictured is the one I have), put as much tension on it as I could, soak it, came back and reapplied, and continued to check the tension. Couldnt get it to tighten any more than I initially did. Left the tool on it over night, in the morning still couldnt to move.

The only thing that did come out of this was a piece of the black finish flaking off the sight post from the PB blaster :(

After soaking it with some P.B. set the front sight on a block of wood and give a sharp tap with a hammer and a punch.

I'm unfamiliar about the inner workings of the front sight, this wont do any damage? If working properly is this thing just pressure fit in or do you remove the sight post, adjust it, and put the post back in?

It unfortunately did not come with a manual. I did just find one online, but it didn't mention sight adjustment.

It's the same design as a standard AK sight. The front cross pin per say is press fit into the front sight block and the actual front sight post is screwed into the cross pin. It will not damage it so long as you use a drift punch the proper size( just needs to be a tad smaller than the hole the cross pin is in) and you have it set squared and centered. You may just mar up some of the paint/finish on the cross pin is all.
