So, I got called in to work around midnight last night. When I was leaving to come home at approximately 2:00 a.m. it darted out from the tall grass along side of the road right in front of me. Darn near hit the thing.

Pretty sure it was a chupacabra.

Or it could have just been a fox.

Would the animal rights activists raise a fuss if someone whacked a chupacabra or a sasquatch?

Speaking of the animal rights people, I was thinking the other day about how messed up it is that they want to protect all of the animals but don't seem to give a crap about plants. I'm going to start an organization for protecting the health and wellbeing of plants. I'll picket anywhere vegans gather and tell them to stop the senseless killing of plants. No more mowing the lawn. No more trimming the trees or shrubs. No more eating broccoli or lettuce or beets. No more apples or bananas or squash. Veggie lives matter.

My daughter was vegetarian for about a year and a half... I used to say "My food poops on your food"
And a bunch of other lines... she'd have us get the vegan stuff made to look like meat products... I'd use a sharpie to "correct" the labels

Fake bacon = FaconFake chicken = Fricken
Fake ribs = Fibs

You get the idea[Coffee]

Reminds me of a bit from comedian Jim Gaffigan where he wonders why vegetarians say meat is so bad for you, but then they make so much effort to make their food look and taste like meat.

I once saw a squirrel in NM with really long ears. My family always made fun of me and my "New Mexican long-eared squirrel," saying it was just a rabbit.

Joke's on them, turns out it was one of these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abert%27s_squirrel

That's a common squirrel at the Scout ranch down by Elbert.
