Holy buckets what a cool place up in NW Arvada. Roughly half of his very nice collection is on display (60+ cars). It's divided in 2 sections; "modern" which is mostly made up of '50s era vehicles and "classic" from the 10's through 30s the majority being coach built cars. WOW, I was overwhelmed. The curator, the guy who did the work on most of them, is there and happy to answer questions. He's worked for Cussler over 30 years. I only have a couple of pics to give a feel for the place but truly a worthy way to spend an hour or so if you're a car freak. Probably the most elaborate is the all original (not restored!) and very rare 1928 Mercedes 630K in the third photo.
The museum closes Labor Day, during the off season some of the cars are swapped out for others in the collection.
