Does any one happen to know if you can still mount a sig pistol brace on an ar pistol i read an article that said the atf changed their policy on the brace not sure if this is true i couldnt find anything to back up the article
You can still legally mount one to a pistol, you are just not supposed to shoulder it like a rifle.

Thanks i got an early birthday present and my brother got me a lower and paid for the tax stamp for the sbr paperwork I was thinking maybe I can have it set up as a pistol until the paper work comes back
If I couldn't wait, I would just get one of them KAK Shockwave Blade thingies and skip the fake strappy Sig brace. They're like $49 on Amazon.
Oh Lordy, don't you even THINK about putting that thing on your shoulder [panic]or the ATF will throw you right in the slammer. You can put it on your chin though, seems that's perfectly OK. [facepalm]

So, as the very definition of an impulse buy, I decided to get one in the cart to see what shipping looked like for my neck of the woods, and at $36.85 with shipping I just couldn't resist (considering the positive feedback on these)....I guess this means I'll have to build a new pistol around it :) (eventually)

I've been wondering, if I were to eat lunch in my car, would the DMV reclassify it as a diner and make me subject to the Public Health inspection? What if I used a rifle to hammer a nail -- would I then be able to sell this "nail" to a buddy without a BI because "#use"?
Has anyone in the ATF taken a course on Aristotle at least enough to know the difference between substance and accident? Inquiring, snarky minds want to know.
