View Full Version : 9mm Largo?
good/bad? is it problem to find it? price? anyone have something chambered in this cal? how it shoots?
It looks like the ammo is available and cheap. And it looks more powerful than the regular 9mm luger. You could do worse.

The 9mm Largo is 9 x 23 in the metric. Winchester makes a 9 x 23 that is loaded a lot hotter that 9mm Largo. Winchester 9 x23 is like a 9mm magnum. Guns chambered for 9mm Largo shoudn't shoot the Winchester 9 x 23.
I have a Astra Model 1921 in 9mm Largo. It is a blowback, not locked breach, semiauto handgun. Kicks more than a regular 9mm. The recoil is more than a 9 prabellum because of both more power and being blowback. I kinda like it though. It fits my collection theme of wierd and cheap.
It's a Spanish round so there are other Spanish guns chambered in it.
It is also called 9mm Bergman Bayard and 9mm Long if I recall correctly.
