Poor mans retaining wall

So I just need to keep the edge from falling down and after looking at the dollar amount to do a cinder block wall I came up with this. 18" spacing on the PT 2"X4" and 5/8 rebar driven 2' in the ground. I will tie off on the rebar going through the supports and set anchors up the yard underground. It is nothing but solid clay so instead of trying to do a drain on the bottom I am going to put it on top. Starts at 3' and goes down to nothing.

Cedar fencing for the wall. I think tying the anchors and the small spacing it will live fro at least 5 years as it does not really hold back much. The back side goes from 3' to 0 in 6' so I will tie it to the block retaining wall with enough room for steps. more to come. Any thoughts on what I may have missed?6630266303

You don't show it in the picture, but I believe you said you're going to put anchors in the soil on the "high side" (you called it yard)... as long as those are up high enough and deep enough to prevent the wall from leaning, then it looks good.

Got that covered. 6t of rock sitting in the driveway. Also running the drainage pipes top and bottom. And the anchors are going to be on the high side about midway between the wall and the sidewalk so about 6-7' away from the wall. More as I get it done. Glad I put the rock down since it has rained the last two days. Thanks gang.

Rained 3 times last week so not much done this weekend. Once the sun comes up it gets hot as hell on that side. But I did get a little 0530 work in. P.S. anyone need some stainless? 5'X10' I believe and .125 thick. Got to dig it out. Just want one small piece of it.[Flower]66369663706637166372
