I wear Danner Acadia's for duty. Looking to get them resoled. There is a place in Parker that does an awesome job for cheap, but I am looking for something closer to Brighton.
Thanks.

Jims boot repair in Brighton, main and bridge st.
If you have a good backup pair a coworker of mine sent his directly to Danner; seemed pretty happy but I'm not sure what he paid. I believe at one time Danner offered a LE discount, I'm not sure if that still applies. I remember him talking about half the price of the boots when he first bought them but it damn near looked like they just sent him brand new boots, inside and out.

I had vibram soles but on an old pair of jump boots years ago in Aurora...was an old man who had a shop by king soopers at mississippi and havana but i have no idea if that shop is even there anymore. Did pretty good, old school with nails and sewing lol.

Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but it's next to the Parker Dance Studio and the Academy Bank Branch in the shopping center on the NW Corner of Parker and Main. To the North of the Library.

Danner wanted $125 to $150.

Dropped off the boots on Tuesday morning. Said they will be done by Friday. He said he does a lot of LE boots. Price wasn't bad, $57. So we'll see when I get them back.
B&Be shoe repair in Golden, CO. They do great work, fair prices. I have had several pair of leather boots resoled there.

Re-hashing an old thread. I found an old-school cobbler in West Denver, rehabbed an old pair of boots for me, new Vibram soles, and the leather looks and feels better than it ever did. $55, not bad, considering probably $200 to replace them. It's an old guy alone in a shop, with some really neat heavy old machinery. If you're not nearby, I'd call ahead, as he seems to randomly run an errand and lock the door. He had me pay up-front which concerned me at first, but now that I've seen his work, I'll go back.

Thank you for posting, I have some boots I'd rather repair than get rid of (they are nearly brand new) and wasn't having any luck looking on-line. According to reviews, seems most people are not happy with the local shoe repair people.

Full disclosure, this place historically has some bad google reviews too, until recently. A recent review says it's under new management.
Thanks for disclosure. Every place has some bad reviews. Seems shoe/boot repair places all seem to have the same type of customer service/quality of service complaints across the entire industry. I suspect it is due to small business owners being nice some days, and not nice other days.

I used the recommended place here in Brighton. I believe he was $60 and just a mile away. He did a great job and it's getting close for one of my pairs to be done again.
