Just here to casually remind you that iCloud has made hackers enormous amounts of money. If it wasn't for iCloud, there wouldn't be but 10% of the celebrity hacked nudes either and divorce proceedings would be slightly less dirty.

I am still running an iPhone 5. It still works. I won't get a new phone until it stops working. When it does, I'll get the oldest model currently available. i like iphones for the simplicity and continuity. Yes, I understand the privacy implications.

Yeah, I got to this point when I decided to change from iphone to droid and realized that I couldn't transfer the music that I PAID FOR to my droid without paying even more. That data is mine now you assholes.

I haven't tried for a while.....maybe there's a hack for this that dolts like me can do.

Any music you paid Apple for should be stored by iTunes as a DRM-less MP3. Log onto iTunes on a PC or Mac, sync your library, then look in the Music directory to get it all and copy to USB stick.

Any music you bought via iTunes prior to 2009 will have DRM protections, Protected AAC format. Follow this link below to remove the old DRM format and get fresh version w/o DRM. You should be good to go.

For as much hate that gets lumped on Apple, Google and Microsoft at just as bad if not worse, imo.
