And they'll probably make the short guy carry it while the 6'5 cornfed dude with the stride of a giraffe carries an m4. :D
Interesting... basically the CROWS system on a tracked robot.

"New USMC Tech" used to mean "leftovers from the Army", i.e., we got their old M-60's when they got the new M-1 Abrams. Meh, good enough for us!
I look at it as a "smart" Bren Gun Carrier/Jeep/Mule.

Call of duty 12... Drone Warfare edition.
The robot to me seems purpose built for the upcoming hot-pocket military generation. I mean, who can carry a M2 anymore. That is so heeeeeavy.
They just need to add seats to the "robit". That way the snowflakes don't have to march as hard.
Snowflakes indeed, everyone of them.

Who heck ever carried the M2? That thing is almost 130 pounds with tripod and T&E. With any appreciable amount of ammo, a dismounted squad would be combat ineffective in trying to support such a weapon. Foxtrot, please tell me you're joking lol.

Worse comes to worse, just stuff the tracked vehicle with bricks of C4 high explosives.
