I just saw this and think it has the potential to be a pretty useful training tool if it works as advertised.

I have one of the laserlyte system units. It's great for those with no clue about hand guns.

I will wait for it to make production and actually be sold. Then read the reviews. Then have them fix the problems or not. The price is about double what that product is worth. Maybe triple.

It really depends on how useful it is to you as a shooter. If it helps you jump your ranking as a competitive shooter, it's going to be worth more to you than for someone who just does static stuff at the range with no performance metric.
RustyCrusty let me use his LaserLyte (I think that's what it was) during a classifier match and I really think it helped my score that day.

Yeah I was kind of thinking the market would dictate what the product is worth not colorider.....

Quick , cheap alternative...One wrap of painters tape when it's on top of your slide, call it good.

Neat concept. I'm not liking the fact you have to rack the slide for every shot (muscle memory). There is a system out there that uses CO2 charged magazines with a proprietary barrel with built in laser. I can't remember if it records hits or not, but it gives you simulated recoil and magazine changes. Probably quite a bit more expensive than this system, but I think far superior. I'm all about dry fire drills, but I think this system is not cost effective for what it does.
There's always air soft. Not great for multiple shot drills but works really well for practicing draws, first shots, and reloads.
