Did a search and found nothing so I'm posting this up.

Hope this isn't old news to everyone, I just discovered it.
Inland (not the original Div of GM Inland) is making two versions of the M1Carbine, a 1911, and a trench gun. pricey, but if you can't find the real deal it's an alternative.
They have not got the best of reviews, but it's good to see several manufactures building M1 Carbines again. The "Inland" is the same gun as Rock Island gun, but with a better stock. James River is building a Rockola if I recall right and seem to get much better reviews. For me, I'll stick with an original vintage gun, but the newer guns could be great shooters. I hope to see more calibers above and beyond the .22 and .30.

I'm hoping they'll smooth out the kinks in the various new Carbines soon. I love my old M1's, neat little rifles! I think there's a solid market for new repros, as long as they work right.
