From earlier this year. The narrative of events is hard to believe this dumb knuckle dragger essentially walking up and starting a fight after initial brief spat of victim being stupid themselves.

The whole event is stupid. The shooter is immeasurably stupid, but this one quote bothers me,


“Storms’ shooting of Mr. Braxton was not a reasonable self-defense situation,” the district attorney said.Steele said Storms had no reason to bring a loaded gun to a crowded church on a Sunday morning, and had no right to confront Braxton, who was in the process of calming down.


It doesn't matter one bit that he brought a loaded gun to church. It matters that he completely misread the situation, escalated it, then murdered a person. I'm glad this story was posted, as it's an important learning opportunity. If someone pulled a gun on me in public for raising my voice, I'd very likely have the same reaction as the guy who was murdered. So now I know that any mouth breather stupid enough to pull a gun in such a benign situation is also stupid enough to shoot me.
