The phrase does not translate to "Son of a Bitch".
" Son of a Whore" is a more accurate translation from what I have gathered.
This is no revelation, Duarte is merely reinforcing what the rest of the world already knows.

Isn't that the country that was taken over by the Imperial Japanese Army? Then the US military took it back from Japan? Seems a bit ungrateful to me. Same country that China has its sights set on taking over some of it outlying islands? Whats a few extrajudicial killings? I mean the police do it here in the US almost weekly. Hell the Philippines is the Pueblo of the Pacific. LMAO

To be fair, it's inaccurate to call Stanley Ann Dunham a "whore" ... there's no evidence she ever took any money for her favors. I can't wait to have a president the world respects again. Bitch all you want about W, people may have made fun of him but nobody messed with him (or America) after 9/12. Iran and North Korea were all too eager to cooperate with arms control inspectors after he gave the "Axis of Evil" speech.

Just another glaring diplomatic failure on the presidents part. Not a reason to cancel meetings. If this is a diplomatic issue between our countries then it should be addressed. If it is not then piss on em. What is our business there anyway? This humanitarian crisis should be the primary reason(since any constitutional reasons would be ignored) we cut off any and all aid, that should not be going there anyway.
Don't mean to be callous, but give me a break. Either cut em loose or tell em pipe down and get in line.

There is one case I got involved in Miami back in the 80's in Miami. I actually had to go on the boat, it involved 350 kilos of cocaine. I'm not saying all cops are bad. And sure some of those killed were total scumbags. But like I posted before, it happens all the time. And if the cop from Nederland had not confessed on his death bed, we would have never known. As for president Duterte, apparently he is now expressing regret according to the news. Corrupt cop topic is a real sore point for some in here. Of course these guys know everything...

You are comparing individual cases of corrupt cops in the US, to an all out war on drugs, which involves killing, at the hand of a president in the Philippines.
As to the corrupt cop topic, yes it is a sore subject for some here, because as much as dirty cops piss you or any non cop off, I assure you it pisses other (good) cops off more. So when people like you come in spouting your garbage like you know something about something, start dumping all cops into the same bowl, it pisses people off.

Philippine leader Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday told U.S. President Barack Obama to "go to hell" and said the United States had refused to sell some weapons to his country but he did not care because Russia and China were willing suppliers.
In his latest salvo, Duterte said he was realigning his foreign policy because the United States had failed the Philippines and added that at some point, "I will break up with America". It was not clear what he meant by "break up".
During three tangential and fiercely worded speeches in Manila, Duterte said the United States did not want to sell missiles and other weapons, but Russia and China had told him they could provide them easily.
"Although it may sound s**t to you, it is my sacred duty to keep the integrity of this republic and the people healthy," Duterte said.
"If you don't want to sell arms, I'll go to Russia. I sent the generals to Russia and Russia said 'do not worry, we have everything you need, we'll give it to you'.
"And as for China, they said 'just come over and sign and everything will be delivered'."
His comments were the latest in a near-daily barrage of hostility towards the United States, during which Duterte has started to contrast the former colonial power with its geopolitical rivals Russia and China.

The joke is that the Phillippines are the Mexico of Asia. Really, the rest of Asia discriminates against them like crazy.
Hopefully some of the 37 guys a day whacked in the Philippines deserved it. Hopefully American Law Enforcement can do a much better vetting of potential officers to eliminate bad apples. And hopefully American parents can raise up their children in the way that they should go.
If adults raised children into functioning adults in this country, Hell any country, there would be far less crime.
