Is there a type of cold blue that doesn't have the strong smell that the birchwood product does?
What about the plum brown and other browning finishes do these have a similar odor to the brown?
Looking into refinishing a muzzleloader so there is alot of metal that will be handled a bit more interested in it not rubbing the smell off on my hands than its actual rust prevention abilities as the metal will be oiled often.
