Just by the off chance, does anyone have any hands-on experience with one of these:

I am looking to replace my 3x9 mil-dot optic and was considering one of these.

I've found a few really good reviews on these, but before I pull the trigger on buying one, I'd like to know if anyone here has any play time with one.

This will be going on an 18" SPR upper chambered in .223 Wylde.

Thank you.

I had the exact one you are looking at, and it is a good optic in that price point. I never had any issues with mine, but I sold it when I stumbled across the deal I got on my Steiners.

They may not be perfect, but they are certainly usable, and if it fits in your budget better than the likes of a PST or similar, then I would say go for it.

Thank you guys so much for your input. Since this will be sitting on top of a 5.56 SPR and used primarily for precision I think I will go with it. I think this will get me into a good quality optic for the price range and keep me pacified until I can afford a MUCH better optic. Guess I'll be putting my Leupold up for sale. Thanks again!

WELL........................ If i were you. I'd hold off or commit the extra $$ now for this unit.
