Looking to get my hands on a Franchi Affinity Catalyst for my wife to hold and see if she wants to buy one. It was just announced in January 2016 and is specifically made for women with a short length of pull, a raised comb, dropped stock to support a womans longer neck but doesn't look to be around yet. I have checked with the big box stores and no one has it or is willing to order it and put it on the shelf if we don't like it. I know there are quite of few guys that own and work at gun shops on here so thought I would ask here rather than calling around all day to various places.

Has anyone seen one of these around town or would be willing to order it for a fee and put it on the shelf if the wife doesn't like it?

My other option is looking at the Beretta A300, or regular Franchi Affinity and then going to a custom fitter, which isn't out of the question either if anyone has suggestions on a place let me know as well. Either way, from my research, the Franchi or getting a custom fit is going to run me around the same price between $1000 and $1500.

Thanks for the help in advance

For those wondering. We found Green Mountain Guns was the only place that knew what we were talking about and willing to order the shotgun and work with us on the price. Still have not made it down there with Big Game Hunting season going on right now but hope to get down there and order an early Xmas present for the wife. They actually did a test shoot with a female shooter that writes firearm and hunting articles in Colorado, can't remember the name, but my wife found that on the interwebs which helped us find the place to order it from.

I'm not much help other than to give my thumbs up on the Franchi line. I originally bought the affinity as a backup gun to my Browning Maxus. It's now my go to gun for ducks and 80% of the time for geese as well. Just points and fits better than the Maxus. Zero issues in the 3 years I have had it. I would like to look into maybe swapping the stock if that is an option with the catalyst to check the fit on the Franchi stock as I have short reach syndrome:) . Let us know how it works out !.

I know its a drive but you may call Specialty Sports in the Springs. Also I can vouch for Franchi's ID design. I was looking for a semi-auto 3.5'' gun and picked up an Intensity after I read some good review and it was named Editors Choice in Outdoor life 2014. Cycled everything out of the box not a single failure to date.
