My go-to auto parts place (Bap Geon on Austin Bluffs) has been shutdown by corporate, so I need a new parts place that doesn't charge an arm-and-a-leg...
Any recommendations?
Thanks!

If you dont needs parts same day Rockauto.com used to be the place to go. Recently Amazon has been beating them on pricing and free shipping.
If you need parts the same day you will pay more locally.
How is the Amazon parts working out? OEM parts or something else?

I got some shocks for a truck for 12 bucks a piece. NOS closeout, name brand. Worked out fine. Rockauto rocks!

Both. I order for my work as well and always looking for better pricing. I understand time restraints and need for local ordering. But for OEM and aftermarket car parts after getting the parts numbers check amazon and ebay as well, you might be astounded at some of the price breaks.

I use rockauto, eBay, Amazon, oreillys and advanced auto.
Rockauto you have to watch the shipping, they will ship from different warehouses and charge you more. I have even caught them changing a part from one warehouse to another when I added 2 more parts that showed shipping from the first warehouse.
Just watch the shipping costs, cuz they can make what looks like a great deal, one that costs you more than a local parts house.
That said, I still use them a lot :)

AutohausAZ in Phoenix has both import and domestic parts from OE vendors.
Free UPS Ground on purchases greater then $75.
Picking and UPS Ground usually takes about a week from order to delivery.

Not sure what you're shopping for. I service my own tdi, and idparts.com and Germanautoparts.com have both been awesome
