I have a shotgun I want to mount a light on. Just looking for general experiences and thoughts on my options - which light, mount, etc.

Thanks.

I went redneck on mine. Pulled my forearm off and bolted a Magpul rail section on it. Cheap and easy. Kinda like some......never mind!

Oh, and it's a TRL

I run a surefire on a M1-S90

It's nice, but not my go to HDW. Probably due to OAL it sits in the safe more than sees use. But.. when in use it's one fine piece of machinery

If i was to mount a light on another SG. I'd attach an inforce to my SBS 590A1 like Sn;) did . Cheap and functional.

The shotgun I want to stick the light on has one of the Magpul forearms on it so I have the M-lok slots. Was thinking about using those to mount the light but didn't know if there were any pros or cons versus mounting it to the barrel or magazine tube.
