I've never had a problem disassembling mine. It's getting it back together that's tough. But, if you spin three times, cross your fingers, and hold you mouth just right, it's a breeze.

putting it back together is ok - if you know how to flip it semi-upside down and giggle it just right - remember the first time I tried it took hours to get it back together the right way.

I did see a few video's on it - I would consider it - but gee - the msrp is kind of high

Easy takedown and reassembly was one reason I went with a S&W 22 Victory recently instead of a 22/45 or Mark III. This new ruger looks even easier to work on, but the suggested price seems like it would push it out of the running for many. Also liked the fact that the Victory came with a rail and was easy to swap over.
