View Full Version : Longmont- Murdochs FYI
In case you were not aware, The Murdochs store in Longmont on Main Street is now selling guns and are currently stocking up on related accessories including some AR items. They did have some Anderson stripped lowers as of Wed.
They are going through some growing pains with training etc but my experiences have been very pleasant and a good deal of banter takes place. They also have optics and Benchmade knives.

Dang Noob and I showed it. lol ! :)
Don't worry, there is already a whole thread about all the Murdochs selling guns now.
Drove past the one on S Sante Fe right there at the edge of HR, and they say they now have a gun dept... sign sitting on the road.
. Ok, I missed that one. Evidently they do in Greeley as well since the guys doing the training are from that store.
We've had guns in Murdoch's in Parker for a while now. Prices are not really spectacular, but if you are impulsive, they're there.
I have purchased a fair amount of powder there.
I loved Murdoch's before and make it a point to patronize them first for most anything I think they will have in store. The hardware bins alone are worth the trip since we no longer have a real hardware store here in Parker. It's great that they are only a few blocks from the house.
Kudos to whomever is running that place.
I stopped by the Longmont store on the way home today.
Hoppes products.
Caldwell sleds/bags
Bluing kits
Some gun-smithing tools
Good selection of reloading supplies (powder, bullets, primers, handgun brass)
Ammo shelves were full, had about 3K rds of CCI Mini Mags ($.08rd in 300rd box)
Factory pistol mags (Sig,Glock,Smith, Ruger), Savage rimfire, Ruger rimfire
Basic Magpul stuff (Buttsocks, Grips, sights, "legal" AR mags)
Decent selection of Pistols/Revolvers
So so selection of long guns/ shotguns, AR's appeared to be Ruger and Smiths
Good amount of Tannerite
Good selection range targets and gongs
Overall prices were middle of the road to the lower side but no screaming deals.
One older guy and a younger guy behind the counter, they're new and will take some time to get up to speed but willing to help.

I would have picked up all the CCI for that price.
They've always had tannerite here. Never really checked the pricing.
