So what do we think about the judges?
Dump 'em all? Keep 'em all? Is there a list of "good guys" and "bad guys"?

Dump them all
Unless I'm aware of a good one, I vote against them. But as Jamnanc said, it really never matters.

There are good ones... just that most of us will never get to know who they are really. It makes the choice difficult when you have limited knowledge of them.

It could matter a great deal if the public were aware and informed as to who the seedy ones are.

Yep. There are resources out there. Some are useful, others not so much.
Two resources:

I tend to vote not to retain. Too many judges sit for entirely too long IMO. No one should sit in judgment of their fellow citizens too long. It fosters a sense of superiority, again, IMO.

Ok so at this point I plan to vote down all judges unless someone comes along and says "Judge X is super pro 2A"
What are you worried about the judges?
I used to vote to boot all the judges until I started to pay more attention to them, look at their rulings, demeanor, etc. There are certainly some that are Conservative Constitutionalists, and those I want to be retained. If one of the groups linked above gives one a bad grade, it is because they are inconsistent, have issues or hold to a contrarian view...sometimes that is a view that is aligned with the Constitution.
they become lifelong politicians with no clue and become untouchable. I always vote out every judge everytime. I guess if there was an outstanding jurist somewhere I might be swayed. Otherwise they are just another career politician lawyer.
I assume you know most of the judges?
