View Full Version : Off Road trails for camping AND shooting.
Looking for an area along the front Range that is a 4x4 trail where camping AND shooting is allowed. Not necessarily trying to shoot from where I sleep, but not looking to have a 10 mile trip between campsite and a decent area to set up steel and get some rounds out to 100+ yards.

I know of a few places west for Fort Collins that you can get to if you have a somewhat high clearance vehicle. It's getting somewhat late in the year though where snow will be an issue soon I'm guessing.
Here are the cords for one of them: shoot here 40.567936, -105.468323 camp here: 40.567883, -105.473128
Snowy Range west of Laramie, a little farther, good fishing, wheeling, OHV's and gets little usage
Thanks guys I will check them out. Been here since 2012, but I might as well live in freaking Boston for all the time I spend in the city.
