My neighbor just ordered simply safe and the install was simple. The tech support was great. It literally took 20m.. granted she only had a few sensors to mount.

I have ADT, I'm not thrilled with them. Price keeps going up, can't upgrade the system w/o paying out the ass. Now if I was a new customer I'd be fine.

We have Protection1 . . . parents have them, too. We've been pretty happy with it. It's not cheap, but it sure had given us peace of mind. I'd have to dig up what we're paying now. My wife has it on auto bill pay so I haven't looked at it recently. Our driver for getting an alarm was that we had some patio furniture stolen one night and our young daughter had been sleeping on the couch in the living room that night (right next to the patio door). She said that she thought she heard someone trying to get in the door that night. So that was all I needed to hear.

ADT pissed me off from the get-go. They came in to do a bid and really jacked up the price . . . gave me the feeling that they were taking advantage of the situation.

My wife calls ADT every 6 months or so and complains about the new advertised prices and they lower ours to match.......
then, they raise it again and she calls again
