Me, my buddy, and another shooter last week experienced a lot of crap 9mm reman 115gr from freedom. Several very light loads, squibs, and some rounds so over powered the cases split. Just a heads up if your shooting the stuff. Thousands of rounds being sent back to them.

I had a bunch of ammo from them that I got from a friend. I had so many issues that I decided never to buy reman again.

Too bad those group buys got f'ed up. That ammo from Patrick's was great (reman)

Yup, I have some 9mm from them and it shoots very hot. I havent ordered any since. I grabbed some .223 from them but havent tried that out and kind of nervous to. This was purchased on black friday a year ago. They suckered me in on trying to win a free upper for the first 5 orders.

This seems to be a common theme with Freedom Ammo.

Run away.

Let's send all 9mm Freedom Reman to the Syrian rebels. Could call it Project Red-headed Stepson.

So...anyone want to buy some ammo? :D

Those were my exact thoughts.

I use the 124 and more often the 147 round nose with no issues in my xdm's for 3gun. Never had an issue in 2000+. YMMV

Their new stuff is cheap enough I don't mess with the reman.

IIRC, the "new" is loaded on the same equipment with the same QC

I don't buy their stuff, too many problems. I do buy extreme bullets though.

I haven't had "issues" with my 9mm from them. But I do get a lot of fireballs coming out the end of my barrel.

a year ago I sent 3000 rounds of 223 back to them. Primers were blowing out and causing all kinds of problems jamming up the bcg

I think it's the exact same ammo in a different box. I have had problems with the "new" before. Light loads and had a squib and bullet stuck in my barrel.

I just took some of their 308 hunting. Had a shot and click. Racked it and click. Not sure if it was their ammo or the less than 500 round repr. 3 round fired fine.

Just saw a guy on Snipers Hide who's rifle blew up in a BAD way with Freedom Munitions ammo. Be Careful with this stuff, After all I've seen here and there, I wouldn't put any of it in one of my firearms.

I have used Freedom re-man in 9mm 115 HP and .45 ACP 230 HP without any issues. About 2000 rounds of 9mm and 1000 rounds over the last two years. In fact, the .45 shoots cleaner than the WWB. When we did the put up / shut up a while back I was shooting Freedom 9mm HP re-man in my Browning. Ran perfectly. Maybe I was just lucky.

Lately I have been getting such good PP deals with buying new ammo on Armslist that I have not purchased any ammo on line since last May.

I've been shooting FM 9/45/223 for years without issue. I'll keep my eye on this thread and other forums.

thanks, wow.

There's more negative then positive with FM Reman. It's not worth my time $$ and firearms to see if i have good or bad luck. YMMV

From what I've read, the customer service is crap as well.

I had some major issues with a 556 from them a few years ago, send 1000 rounds back.

I've been shooting their 9mm and .223 for a few years now and never had any malfunctions. That's my anecdote FWIW.

Wow, lots of bad experiences here. I shot a lot of their 9mm and .223 about 3-4 years ago (back when they were brand new) without any safety issues - I guess I got lucky! [Dunno]

I do remember the powder giving fireballs and leaving lots of dirt/residue/build-up.

[LOL] I was actually talking about the 9mm, but I bet they would put on a good firework show out of a 7.5" AR!
