Since most of us vote by mail (and many of us have already submitted our ballots) its a good idea to make double plus sure that they have your ballot and it'll be counted.
Go here https://www.sos.state.co.us/voter-classic/pages/pub/olvr/findVoterReg.xhtml and when you enter your info it'll tell you if they have your ballot and it will be counted or not.
Great idea! Every day I read something else about some other form of fraud occurring in the country. Damn liberals!

Thank you, I was just looking for this to make sure our ballets were counted.
Just dropped mine off this morning, I'll check it when I get back to town Monday.
Thank you, my vote will be counted.

They're pretty quick about updating it - I dropped mine off this morning and it already shows as received!!! Now why can't they be that quick with a tax stamp???

Thanks for the info. Side note. I was at the post office Tuesday and they had hundreds of ballots without postage. People seem not to to be paying attention.

Bumping this to the top.
Thanks for the information Zund.
In so many elections we've heard that "This is the most important election in years". It's been said enough that it's starting to ring hollow. BUT, especially after the last 8 years, THIS election is critically important. Our next POTUS will likely have the say on multiple SCOTUS members and that will shape the future of our country forever more. This election actually is the most important election in my lifetime.
I encourage everyone to get out and vote, and vote wisely. Don't vote to spite the current system or candidate choices. Don't vote for a thrid party because you can't stand the 2 main contenders. Consider the impact now and for the future of your vote. VOTE, and ensure your vote is counted.

Thanks again for this link!
Both of our ballots have been accepted by the county and will be counted.
They haven't counted mine yet. They must have peeked.
Says mine and my wife's have been accepted.
Mine's been accepted.My vote counts!...*snicker*...*snort*...blahahahahahahahah ah...who the hell am I kidding? [LOL]
Checked the website, it said...
Your county accepted your ballot, and it will be counted. Promise. ;)

We dropped ours off yesterday afternoon. Still not showing as accepted.
As an interesting aside, I got a letter in the mail yesterday, showing I had a perfect voting record (no missed elections) since 2002. Creepy that they keep this kind of info, though.

I heard democrats are suppose to vote on the 9th this year. Or they can cut the lines and text "Hillary" to 555689 to vote by text. [Coffee]
Finally got accepted and will be counted. :)

My son, first time voter, got a notice in the mail from jefferson county that his vote needs to be verified with photo ID because the signature does not match what his voter registration shows. (his signature varies greatly each time)
Just thought that was interesting.
I just checked the website, yep, rejected.

Guess it pays to get the mail in ballots in early. I used to wait till later to fill mine out and send it in. This year I did the day after I got it.
If that website works then they haven't counted mine. Guess my opinion really doesn't matter after all.

In rereading that, if he's a first time voter I believe he's required to show ID. (confusing because you say his signature varies greatly each time) I also read it the first time that you both were rejected. Was that only your son?
I don't recall any requirement on new voters, but maybe there is? Only his was rejected, other two adults mine/wife were accepted.
Thankfully there is an email option to send in verification proof. Assuming someone checks the inbox and validates them.
Still odd that it's requirement was only by 16th to prove, so if they have enough votes, nobody will care, if it's a close call count, we might not know the outcome until after November 16th.
It should have said on his ballot, if proof of ID was required initially. If it wasn't required on his ballot, and they are questioning his signature, is that potential fraud, or due diligence?
[Dunno]
Just an observation from a different angle.

Ours showed received and being verified within two hours of dropping them off on Saturday and shows accepted and being counted this morning.

It says they got mine and it's being counted. Who'd you p---- off?
Saw a news piece on the subject this morning. The question was asked, "What do they use as the source for comparing the signature, is it their ID signature or something else?" The answer was "The signatures used in the previous voting history are used for comparison." Makes me wonder if they reject if they have no prior record for signature comparison.

Print off the rejection notice, and go in tomorrow; I think you can recast a ballot if your mail-in is rejected.

Dropped it off this morning, still waiting for verification. ...procrastination..it's a bitch.
Ok. I'm a dumbass.
Apparently if you put garbage in, you get garbage out.
Seems in a moment of blind stupidity I entered my first name in the last name box and vice versa. Two times.
Apparently they are counting my vote.
I guess my opinion does matter after all.

I'll be dropping ours off tomorrow. Fully armed and prepared for the jihad attackers, of course.
WTF i dropped ours off saturday. Still don't show received.....
Called weld. they have mine but not wife, dropped off same time.... on hold as lady looking into it.
They had no clue so finally said she can go and vote in person again. Sounded like somehow flagged her possibly as able to or something.
I was a little paranoid after seeing these things only monitored by 2 retiree's. Forget who I was talking to be was supposedly saying some places were unattended pretty much except for camera on the box. He might be full of shit, but not encouraging that they can screw up losing ballots like that. (Wasn't rejected, just shows that it's still "active" and out there)
Mine finally said it was received and will be counted.
My wife verified hers, mine, and MIL's yesterday after my BIL verified his and found it not counted, so he has to go vote in person now. He mailed his in, so not sure where or why it didn't make it to it's final destination.

Here in Virginia, I guess there's not a way for me to verify my vote from this morning. I bitched about it to the lady at the station, too. Basically, I fill in bubbles on a paper sheet with a pen, then that gets fed through a scanning machine. All that I can see from there is a number tick up by one to see that my vote "counted". No confirmation or receipt available of my ballot values/choices.
What they need is a paper receipt printed with a serial number that has the ballot choices itemized. From that point afterward, anyone can lookup any serial number (think the tracking numbers on a USPS priority mail receipt) on a centralized website that has every single vote value with corresponding serial number tallied in a giant list. That way, every single person can check the votes, and check their own serial number for accuracy.
eta: I suggest this because "don't worry, your vote counted." means jack shit to me.

One of the extra concerns when implementing a voting system would be a country where you could be shot for voting for the "wrong" candidate. If you had a piece of paper that showed your vote, someone could make you show it at gunpoint and you could be executed for it.
Some electronic voting systems in use in the US do create a paper summary "receipt" of your votes, and you can visually verify it counted them correctly, then you put that paper receipt in a container at the polling place. The electronic votes can later be compared to the paper receipts in the event of a dispute, but you still get the instant numbers back from the electronic system.
