I want to be able to hunt rabbits/squirrels with this gun.. whats a good non battery operated sight for this? Or does someone know a good place close to littleton that could drill holes for a front sight?

Dang can't post a picture its a ruger mk iii with a rail instead of sights.

Thanks, craig

I've got a 1-4x scope with mount for sale you could throw on it.

I've had really good luck with "All Caliber Gunsmithing" in Parker. Denny is the owner and is always extremely nice and provides fast service at a good deal. Nothing but the best to say about him and dealt with him a lot on customers guns and my own.

Sparc2? https://www.ar-15.co/threads/159142-Optics

I don't think there will be a non-battery operated optic of any kind which is small enough to not be ridiculous on a pistol for the purposes you want.

I like Ridge's suggestion the most, but if it's too pricey, Vortex makes a version which is cheaper: http://www.vortexoptics.com/category/venom_red_dot

That is true for archery and muzzleloader season. I don't believe I've read that for any small game restriction.

For the $300+, i'd sell my Fast Fire 3 and save whoever an easy $50;)

Just checked again and I don't believe there are any sight restrictions for small game. Here is the 2016 small game brochure so you can check again yourself. Hope this opens up options for you.
