Schaaf offered an explanation for the police response.

“While I know it’s little comfort to you, I want to explain why it seems our police department cannot stop them,” she said. “The police who are responsible for the safety of the crowds and our community during these protests are very often the target themselves. When they step in to stop an act of vandalism while it is happening, they become the new focal point for the crowds, which can lead to an escalation of violence, not a decrease in the vandalism.”

And why is that I wonder? Hmmmm... Probably not Dem racial politics and Soros. Nope.

If Dem mayors are giving "protestors" the space to destroy things could get out of hand pretty quickly.

To quote another member: Be Safe (members and LE alike)

As I recall the protesters in Baltimore received the same leniency.

Exactly and it didn't end with property crimes.

If the mayor just comparing property to the safety of people, well that math is easy. But once these riots get started there are often crimes against persons. Then what?

A 10 day wait for riot police to get authorization and a BG check before they can get their rubber bullets issued?

[LOL]

Maybe they should have to watch a video on profiling first too?

That works for us. The poor sucker in Oakland who gets caught at the wrong place/time can't. After Lib gov said "you don't need a gun, we'll protect you."

Looks to me like Libs picking winners and losers. Gotta break some eggs I guess.

These protests are not organic. They're bought and paid for by the Democrats and Soros. Wikileaks exposed this already.

There have been many reports lately of Craigslist & other ads for "protestor jobs". Go figure...

There are pictures of the protestors being bussed-in for a protest in Austin, TX. This is all part of an organized strategy.

But are the locally sourced and fair trade paid wages? That's the question.

At the point when the politicos say that they can no longer protect the people they serve, is it time to find someone who can? Otherwise, why are they there?

For the people man, for the people. That and insuring their "gov assistance" flows.

Vote for me and I'll set you free.

Rap on brother, rap on

Politicians say more taxes will solve everything

I'm in Iowa celebrating my wife's birthday at a sushi joint tonight and see a "No Concealed Weapons Allowed On This Property" sign near the restroom (not at the entrance...weird).
[ROFL2][ROFL3][LOL]

The little plastic sign did nothing to stop me. [Coffee]
