I think I've decided against the long slide version, and am close to picking up a G20 for backwoods carry. The best prices I've seen online locally seem to be about $550. Thanks.

Best bet is to call around. You could start in the IP section.

without some sort of Blue Label hookup, that sounds about right. For instance, you'll never see a Gen3 17/19/22/23 under $499. that's my benchmark--if you see a gen3 for $519, etc., you know the place is jacking the prices.
That being said, sportsman's always seems to have prices at that level, but don't know if they carry the G20/G20SF
also, check Rockyourglock

I have a gen 4 blue label G20 that I have never fired a round, still new. I bought it just before I found my G40 so it’s just sitting in the safe. I have been thinking I should sell it. PM me, it will be less than $550 without night sights, if you want the nights it’s more.

there's your best deal
Big E3's is a good deal. Dont discount the long slide. It shoots nice. I had one built on a 2nd gen before the MOS came out. The extra slide weight it nice, and sight radius if that matters to you. I currently have a 3rd gen SF20. I'm gonna get an MOS. Or get something like E3 has and drop in a long barrel.

Thanks. I should have updated this. I'm the new owner of E3's G20.4
