My phone updated my Tapatalk Pro app overnight. The developers have forced their Pro users into the new paradigm of the free app. Blew away all of my settings. What a nice way to treat users that paid for the app. No thanks, I'll use a browser or another app.

If you don't want your Pro app to update, better disable the automatic update.

They did something sillier to that about 6mo after the intial release, screw TT.

Being rooted on ANDROID has many benefits. I protected a TIBU backup of 6.1.5, and marked the app to not auto-update in Play. I prefer not to globally disable auto update given the ability to restore an older backup apk if needed, and only prevent a few apps from updating and breaking various root patching tweaks.

If it stops working due to version, then I'll probably just dump it. I was pissed when they took the Aviary photo editor out and then I couldn't even upload images for a while.

I am getting sick of it too. Point of running tt was to minimize bandwidth. But with the latest half screen adds its just better to use a low bandwidth browser. Blah

Android: Use your phone's included browser/Chrome.

Apple: see above with less favorable results.
